Victor WatsonMr Victor Watson CBE DL is the President of Print Yorkshire. Mr Watson has previously been Chairman of Waddington PLC, President of the Institute of Packaging is a well known local and National figure in the Print and Packaging industry.

Steering Group Members

Print Yorkshire has brought individuals from large and small print companies who together have in-depth industry knowledge and experience; so that we can ensure that the actions that are proposed are in line with the needs of industry.

In selecting representatives, we have looked for people that can help communicate and gain acceptance of our vision, goals, strategies and action plans to our cluster stakeholders - to win the hearts and minds of their colleagues within the cluster.

Meetings are held on a regular basis and contact is maintained throughout.

Responsibilities:

  1. The successful management of the project and achievement of outcomes.
  2. The discharge of contractual obligations to Yorkshire Forward.
  3. Liaison with Yorkshire Forward.
  4. Liaison with and briefing of the PrintYorkshire Board.
  5. In conjunction with the Board and the “Champions”, to develop appropriate implementation plans to deliver the strategic objectives of PrintYorkshire.

Responsibilities:

  1. The development of activity plans to compliment strategic objectives.
  2. The innovative implementation of activity plans ensuring that they deliver strategic objectives.
  3. The sourcing, contracting with and quality control of third party suppliers in the pursuit of activity plans.
  4. Contributing to the development of the strategic objectives and the appropriate activity plan.

Project Administrator
Caroline Copley - PrintYorkshire

Responsibilities:

  1. The efficient administration of the contractual obligations under the contract between Yorkshire Forward and the BPIF.
  2. The development of appropriate systems and records, which ensure that the BPIF’s obligations are met.
  3. Ensuring that adequate records are kept so that financial claims can be processed in a timely manner.
  4. Liaising with Yorkshire Forward in appropriate matters.
  5. Co-coordinating all necessary reports under the contract.
