New Manager appointed as Charlesworth China Print moves to the next level
Charlesworth has appointed a new manager in their Beijing office to oversee the production of UK publications in China.
The Company has seen an increasing demand for serial titles to be produced in Chinese for the Chinese market. The recent successful launch of two major journals produced by Charlesworth in China sparked the decision to add to the existing print management team in Beijing.
New Print Services Manager Gerry Yang, a fluent English speaking graduate with experience in all aspects of print production as well as project management, is responsible for Charlesworth’s fully comprehensive production service.
The first two issues of a quarterly journal for the Institute of Civil Engineers, published by Thomas Telford, were recently completed. The publication was translated, typeset, printed and distributed by Charlesworth in China. In addition to this, the Chinese version of the Royal Society of Chemistry's flagship monthly journal, Chemistry World is also printed and distributed by Charlesworth in China.
Charlesworth’s International Business Director, Helen Charlesworth commented, “With more and more publishers recognising China’s potential as a source of new sales revenue for their existing publications, we are now seeing an increasing demand for our services within China. We are delighted to welcome Gerry to manage our expanding print publications production team.”
